How did I get involved in the Portrait business?

Because I love to draw, I started doing House Portraits for my family and for friends in my neighborhood. They're great for people moving into a new home or great memories for people to remember an old home. I love to draw animals, especially my own pet pugs, and I thought, hmmm... I'd love to make other people happy by doing paintings and drawings of their special pets!

I graduated with a BFA in Painting from the University of Hartford. I've been working as an artist for 13 year doing scenic and mural painting, painting theatrical sets, television studios, trade shows, and construction sites--you name it! I've also been an actress and singer in my time here in New York. I also have enjoyed the comedy scene where I have performed improv comedy, sketch comedy.. but now my interests lie in directing.
